I am allergic to work! Is true! I am sure I have recovered from my cold 95%, yet, everytime I start work, I start to cough too. And the cough continued throughout the day until I am out of my work place. My good colleague called it the "Pity Me Cough". Hahahaha ... ... What to do... ... At least it does not sound a TB cough!
Today has been a terribly annoying and busy day. Well, not that the workload is high but I am rather fed up with having to deal with very brainless matters!!! Matters, which require nil brain cells and all one needs is just TO BE CAREFUL! I just cannot understand why there are beings out there who do not understand this simple instruction? Why can't they put in more effort in their work? Why can't they be more careful? And guess what? These are usually the people who are on a mission to "SPOT YOUR MISTAKE" and embarrass you BIG TIME!!! Come on, is human to err. There is NO "SPOT THE MISTAKE" contest!!!
And the worst thing is, these beings do not realise that their "minor" mistake (according to these beings, that is), could cause a serious chain mistake reaction!!!
Anyway ... ... I need to de-stress!!!
After work, I managed to convince my friends to go to Plaza Singapura aka Plaza Sing with me. Yes, my friends knew the reason why I HAD to go there. Yes, I was buying more scrapbooking supplies. I was so attracted to the Teresa Collins Travelogue collection, currently available at Made with Love aka MWL, that for every patterned paper I picked, I took FOUR, yes, FOUR pieces of the same pattern!!! I happened to bump into some talented scrapbookers and they were amused that I bought so much more n-plicates than them. I supposed I made feel less self-guilty. What to do? I just have an extremely soft spot for ALMOST all travel themed patterned paper.
My friends were amusingly surprised when they realised that I was ready for payment after about 15 minutes. When they saw the papers, they were happily telling the girls at the cashier that I had to buy so many n-plicates because I was going to use the materials to make something for each of them. Oh, this is certainly something that I was not aware of... ...
I just read Agnes's blog and I could not stop laughing. It is just so hilarious!!! Especially the blog about the kind of guy she liked. Sigh... ...From her sad sad mistake, we, ladies, should never say " as long as look like a guy, can already". If you ask me what kind of guy I like, well, give me some time, I will tell you when I can give you some definitions. For friends who know me, they know I have a soft spot for talented guys, especially if they write/compose/sing well. Hahahahaha... ...
I'm tired yet it is too warm to sleep. It is going to be a busy day six hours later... ...

Reduce, Reuse & Recycle Scrap Challenge
In conjunction with National Scrapbooking Month celebration, Made with Love, Singapore held a "Reduce, Reuse & Recycle" Scrap challenge. The main idea was to incorporate the "green" idea into scrapbooking.
Well, shown here are my takes on the challenge.
The Mail Pocket

The Mail Pocket, which can be used to hold mails, was made using the cardboard found in one of the album (Making Memories) packaging. The cardboard was to hold the album in a sturdy manner. I removed part of the cardboard and folded it into the shape as seen in the picture. The lace used was from Crabtree and Evelyn packaging. Besides the mentioned, all materials used were scrapbooking materials left over from previous projects.
(PP and stickers- 7 Gypsies; Chipboard Flowers - AMM; Paint - Making Memories; Glossy Accents. Ribbon and string from other pakaging.)
Besides the mail pocket, I also did an accordin album, featuring my favourite rock band at the moment. The album was made from the AMM chipboard, which was used to hold all the alphas and shapes. The alpha, numbers and shapes were removed. Very minimal materials were used to make this album. All materials, with the exception of the cardstock, were all left overs from previous projects. The chipboards were all partially paper-sanded prior to being painted.

Here's the recycled product used prior to "make over"
After "make-over" ... ...
(Stickers - 7 Gypsies, Sassafras, Big Honkin' Stickers by Vicki Harvey for Mustard Moon, one more brand which I cannot remember; Chipboard Alphs, numbers - AMM; Paint and Foam stamps- Making Memories. All materials listed here were left overs from other projects. Only cardstocks were brand new. Plaid Mod Podge (Matt) was used.)
Well, it does not matter if I win the challenge. I am just happy that the works can be put on display and be marvelled by fellow scrappers. I know, I'm very thick skin. But I am. And I am shallow.

Burst or Explode
I was reading the meeting minutes with my fellow colleagues when I realized that there was something “seriously” wrong with the minutes.
Me: Exploded? What do you mean “exploded”?
Colleague 1: Yah, I thought the bag only burst.
Me (to Colleague 1): I remembered you telling me that you were carrying a bag of hot wax, and then, the bag burst, you slipped and fell.
Colleague 1: Yah, I don’t remembered it exploded. My English maybe bad but the bag definitely only burst, not explode.
Me (at this point, I began to explain to other colleagues who had gathered around to “study” the minutes): Exploded!!!! So drama!! What a term to use! The bag only burst and the contents leak out and then Colleague 1 slipped and fell and then … …
Other colleagues were giggling as we whispered the difference between “BURST” and “EXPLODED” and that we should use proper English when writing meeting minutes. I also went into great length in explaining the importance of using proper English and terms. There was no need to exaggerate in minutes. My dear friends, you must understand that I attended lectures on writing minutes and therefore, am rather particular about the way meeting minutes should be written.
Later the day, I complained to other colleagues about the use of “EXPLODE” and “BURST” in the meeting minutes… … We were taking the escalator to Plaza Singapura.
Me: You cannot use the word “EXPLODE”!!!!!!! It sounded like we had a major accident!!!!!! “Explode” is like atomic bomb explosion. There’s an upward movement. (My hands were high up in the air to illustrate the difference.)
Other colleagues were shocked while I continued, in an extremely animated manner.
Me: “Burst” is like (at this point, there were loads of sound effects and gestures to explain the “burst” effect) while “EXPLODE” is “BOMB” (I had even more sound effects and gestures. Yes, I was tremendously animated!!!!!!!)
Me: Is just like you say “My water bag burst”. You don’t say “My water bag exploded!!!!!!” Imagine what it will be like if your water bag exploded. You won’t be giving birth because your baby would “explode” out of you!!!!
At this point, my poor colleagues were in peals of uncontrollable laughter. Yes, I was very animated. Extremely… … I supposed I could do a monologue if I wanted to. A monologue on “When and How to Use Burst and Explode”… …

Hello
Hi!
Welcome to my blog - BlueBubbleTY.
Why BlueBubble?
Well, I used to "bubble" on many occassions with my friends, and hence, Bubble. As for Blue, well, I'm a Blue fan . The additional "TY" after that is due to the fact that bluebubble was not accepted as part of blog name, hence, I have to add TY. Also, this is to allow my friends to identify me. Hahaha ... ...
This is just a beginning of my craziness in the form of blogging... ... Will update later... ...
Thanks for reading!
