After planning for a while, we decided to "steamboat" our friends tonight, but Agnes and S decided that they have more important things to do than to "steamboat" their friends.
Well, we all had a good time and I have decided that the best steamboat place was the one which we went with PY the last time round. This particular steamboat outlet we went to did not offer free flow of drinks so, we really need to be very stingy in quenching our thirst.
Their mala steamboat was not just mala. It was SCORCHINGLY SPICY!!! The variety was alright but the one which we went with PY had more steamboat variety and cooked food. I think we shall return to that steamboat place next time round.
I was quite happy at the outlet because I got to watch quite a number of programs on TV while "steamboating". We chat all sorts of nonsense but the topic was soon on Teddy Bear. Heehee... The girls were then "teaching" me how to "lure" Teddy Bear out for fun!!! Well, I will look for an opportunity to "strike". Hee hee... ...
Yawn... ... I am going to sleep now. Very very tired ... ..
Catch up again tomorrow then... ...

My Review
I know I have told quite a number of you that I am going to write a my review of MayDay's latest album, right? Errr, I will do that next week instead.
Am really not feeling too well. Am sniffing and sneezing abit. Yawn... ...
And a small wound to take care of.
Well, let you guys into some more light hearted stuff. If you attend the party on Wednesday, and realise that whatever I have "reported" is wrong, please do correct me.
On Wednesday, 5th November 2008, some of the lab staff went to the Division party. It was quite alright. The buffet was decent (minus the soggy pohpiah, but I was to hungry to not to eat up the popiah). We all had some fun at the party. I think the funniest was that Mr LA was the first one to get the food when the emcee announced that dinner had commenced. Mr LA went with his good pal LKH and Teddy Bear went as well. Somehow, Mr LA and LKH went off immediately after filling their stomachs with food. Teddy Bear stayed around for quite awhile.
I think Teddy enjoyed the party a bit. XW and I went to sit with him and chat for awhile until it was time for the final round of lucky draw when XW and I decided to change seats to change our luck! Haha, ridiculous isn't it?
XW is so easily amused!!! She can laughed at the slightest funny thing!!!
The talent show was the part which provided the most fun for us. The first dance item was quite, dull (I think my self-improvised "touch the hair" dance is better.) When the magician came to do his stuff, our boss was so impressed that she wished he could work with us and magic everything for us. Hahaha... ... If we really have a magician in our lab, we do not need Smelly to sort slides anymore!!! Imagine that, my dear friends!!!
Then, it was followed by a number of "singers" and another dance item. My friend, S, was very amused by the dancer. She couldn't stop imitating his "signature" pose when he claimed the third prize!!!
It was a short and sweet event. Generally, I like the part when I got to sit beside Teddy Bear and talked to him!!! Thanks XW for giving me the guts!!!
Alright, going to hit the notes again!

Alright, going to hit the notes again!
My Life is about Football and Rock Band
Well, if only life is that simple.
At times, I really wish that I have much more stamina than I do now. I simply do not have enough stamina to go through my notes and all the reading ups which I have to attend to. After work, I just want to hit the bed as soon as I can. Even watching TV has lost its place. I think I am going to take a few days leave next year just to catch up on my sleep.
Now that we are on the topic of catching up on sleep, well, 2009 is going to be a year of sheer fun business for me. There will be loads to do. There will be more scrapbooking and I am really looking forward to a year of pure scrapbooking, sports (ie F1 and football), reading and attending all sorts of concerts! WooHoo!!
Yes, there are questions as to whether I am going to do a PhD. I would love to but given the current situation, I think I will leave that aside for a while. I enjoy academics and I really like attending classes and learning or re-learning loads of stuff. Minus the exam bit and the occassional jealousy from some green eyed monsters, going for graduate studies has been a real fun. It is tiring but fun, nevertheless.
Hmmm, I think I better hit my notes now.
