Cough, cough ... ... Yes, I am still coughing away. Sigh... ...
I am listening to SodaGreen's second album - Little Universe, track 2, Little Universe.
After the "NO CAMERA", "security guys catching fans with camera and photographing away" mini concert cum autograph session, I want to see and hear them more now. Well, despite SodaGreen not allowing the fans to photograph and video and not autographing my book, I am more attracted to their music. I will buy their latest album as well as their concert album tomorrow or sometime this week.
Looks like 2007 and now, 2008, is proving to be a year of concerts and music for me.
First, there is the MayDay overload and now, SodaGreen overload.
I first came to know about SodaGreen from Sam, who bought their album in Taipei, Taiwan, as it was not released in Singapore at that time despite their immerse popularity in Taiwan.
Sodagreen is very different from MayDay. However, I discovered that quite a number of Singaporean fans who like Sodagreen, are MayDay fans too. They have quite a number of similarities - both bands are bands, to begin with. They write meaningful lyrics, and are not afraid to defer from mainstream. The only difference is that Sodagreen's works are just as unique as MayDay's. I am sure the Sodagreen following in Singapore will grow much more in future.
Both bands are very passionate about music. While they are not comparable to Maroon 5, Linkin Park, it is difficult to ignore their presence. Hate them, love them, these bands are here to stay , with their very passionate and unique works.
Music does cleanse one soul after a workful day of nonesense.
Yawn, am finally tired. Am going to slumberland now.
Good morning!
