Wow!!! I nearly drowned myself in tears if I did not manage to redeem the tickets for Mayday's showcase concert in Singapore in January, 2009. I was terribly, emotionally affected when the organiser informed us that there were not many tickets and that we would not be able to get the tickets for the concert. Imagine the horror!!! If I have gone to the venue to redeem the tickets on my own, I probably would not feel so bad. But, my friend Juan and my cousin had been roped in to aid in getting the tickets and I would be awfully sad if we really did not get the tickets!!!!!!
Juan and my cousin told me that maybe the organisers did this as part of their business gimmick. To a fan, I do not think this is interesting. It will only add more stress to fans who are willing to brave through any weather to get a chance to meet their idols. Shouldn't they inform when there is really not a chance of getting the tickets?
Fortunately, after being in the queue for about 2 hours, we got our tickets and I was happy again. I am like that, easily affected, emotionally. The organisers decided to begin the redemption exercise early as the queue was getting ridiculously long. I think the queue was going to loop round the entire the building.
Well, I am happy now that my friends and I will be going to the concert next Sunday. Heehee...
And yes, MayDay will be holding a full concert here in Singapore, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, 29th August 2009. I shall ask the rest of the girls if they are interested. I should be going again. What's more, there's a 10% discount for early bird booking!!!
Alright, back to reading the Twiling series.

Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas!!!
Well, it is probably abit late, but nevertheless, Merry Christmas!
I was supposed to go to my grandparents' place for a mini family party-gathering but my mum was feeling a little giddy so, we all stayed at home, which was not entirely a bad thing. We ended up having MacDonald for dinner. No, not mega-McSpicy. Just the filet-O-fish meals and a box of nuggets. Oh, my aunties dropped by for a short visit and of course, my littlest cousin got her present and so did my other bigger cousin. Heehee... ... Well, I promised my littlest cousin that I will get her something and I am sure she must egg her mum aka my aunty to drop by. Either way, I am glad she got the present, which she held it very tightly.
The weather was rather grey and gloomy and I was either sleeping or reading. Speaking of reading, yes, I am reading the Twilight series. I was never one who read will read romance. I have never read any romance till a few days ago. I attempted once but the contents was so, I do not know. I just do not like it. Yet, I find today's weather very befitting for reading the Twilight series.
When I started work, I was introduced to romance but again, I was not interested. I was more willing to read Harry Potter or any biographies rather than romance. But this time round, I bought the Twilight set - all four books!!! I know, it must have sounded very unlike me but I kind of like the way the novel was being written.
I am not really sure what attracts me most to the series. I was not sure if it was the vampire-human love aspect, or that I am so thirsty for love myself that I am beginning to like romance. But the later cannot be true because I still cannot bring myself to liking romance. I suppose the reason why I like the series so much has to be due to the fact that I like the way the author spins her tales. I must thank my buddy for introducing such an interesting romance series.
So, that is how I spent my Christmas. Waking up at 0930, had breakfast, read, had lunch, read, nap, went to the mall, had dinner and then chat with my aunties and cousin who dropped by and had tea.
Gonna sleep now!
Happy Boxing Day!

Scrapbooking Class - Marathon Style + Migraine
Do you know who she is? Are you sure you do not know who she is? She is Kah-Mei Smith!!! Hurray!!! After so many misses and undecisiveness, I managed to sign up for both her classes at Laines,!!! I must say that classes with Kah-Mei are the most challenging and fun!!! This is one of the class whereby one really get to learn many interesting techniques and learn many many things from her.
Personally, one of the most difficult task for me at the class was measuring the papers to "unknown" inches and making sure the papers were of the right inches and the right side. The inches!!! Who would have thought that the inches would pose such challenges? And being anal, and being "must do exactly like the sample, must copy every inch by every inch", my goodness, my migraine hit a new high too!!! Think I was sick the moment I reached home. Well, I had only myself to blame for not getting a good rest the night before knowing that I was going to a scrapbooking class marathon.
Besides measuring the paper and cutting them up to the right measurements and to make sure that the right side of the paper had been cut, the other challenge was to label the papers properly, and to make sure that the papers were pasted on the right side of the chipboard album!!!
The biggest challenge was to cut the smaller papers with several dimensions using one piece of patterned paper or card stock!!! Well, I have learn how to save my paper now and to make FULL use of each precious piece of paper!!!
At half time, sorry, I mean to say at the end of the first lesson, I decided to take a picture with Kah-Mei. She is really friendly!!! And she has a very cute laughter too. Her assistant Jit, and Betty of Laines were all very helpful. Without both of them, and with the addition of my stupid migraine, I would have been so dead!!!
So, here's another shot of me and Kah-Mei. The album I am holding was mine (that is, I made the album, incomplete except for the cover) while the other album held by Kah-Mei, was done by the true master - Kah-Mei.
I brought home the albums and my mum loved the albums to bits. She even commented that the stuff I brought home after each class I attended are getting prettier and prettier. She also mentioned that the techniques are more interesting too.
I must say tha Kah-Mei's classes have brought scrapbooking lessons to another level.
But, I must be getting old. I must make sure I get a good rest before going for another scrapbooking class marathon style!!!
A Chocolaty Affair??????
It has been a long long time since I last updated this blog of mine. Well, I have been busy trying to be lazy. Have had to attend to examinations, work and trying to catch up on reading the articles, writing the thesis and of course, catching up with the various gossips.
Last month, when I heard that Teddy Bear was going to to Boston for conference and vocation, I teased him to get presents for us. I always do that to anyone who are going away and most of the time, they know that I do not mean it and I just enjoy the process of teasing them. So, Teddy Bear has returned and I teased him again on why he didn't give anything to us. I cannot quite remember what I said to him but I did mention that he "must not be stingy to his love". He was puzzled and asked what had giving chocolates and love got to do with each other. To which, I explained that if he loved us all, he should give us some and not give chocolates to the Missy V and her gang only.
He had a good laugh and as usual, after the teasing, I left him alone and went back to doing my work, forgetting what I had said to him. Minutes later, he came to me and gave me a packet of chocolates. My goodness, I was thankful yet embarrassed. Besides thanking him profusely, I had to apologize to him as well. Mr WTF even commented that I was very naughty to ask for chocolates like that. Our SS shifu even guessed that I must have gone to "beg" for one as most of Teddy's gang will never give us anything.
Days passed. I went to look for CWC last Friday and asked her for her advice on wearing contact lenses afte conea abrasion. If you have read my earlier entries, you would have know what happened to my cornea.
After thanking her, I saw Teddy and apologized for making him feel obliged to give us some chocolates. And then, I asked this question, "Are the chocolates really for the lab?"
If you have followed the entry throughout, you would know that I was making sure that Teddy was not "forced" but had decided to treat us to some chocolates on his own goodwill.
To that question, Mr LA, who had not know what had happened, said in Mandarin, " Don't think so much. Teddy is a nice person. The chocolates are for the lab. Don't think so much. It doesn't mean anything. He is being kind to you all"
Sigh, I can only say that the person who thought to much, had to be Mr LA. I can also guessed that Mr LA has not been kind to us.
Even though I think very well of Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear remains the Mr Nice Guy whom everyone likes. That's all. I just like to tease him. Mr LA, on the other hand, has lost all the appeal of Mr Nice Guy.
Mr LA, don't think too much! The chocolaty affair is not what you think!
