Scrapbooking Class - Marathon Style + Migraine

(Sorry Kah-Mei, I took a candid snap of you.)
Do you know who she is? Are you sure you do not know who she is? She is Kah-Mei Smith!!! Hurray!!! After so many misses and undecisiveness, I managed to sign up for both her classes at Laines,!!! I must say that classes with Kah-Mei are the most challenging and fun!!! This is one of the class whereby one really get to learn many interesting techniques and learn many many things from her.

Personally, one of the most difficult task for me at the class was measuring the papers to "unknown" inches and making sure the papers were of the right inches and the right side. The inches!!! Who would have thought that the inches would pose such challenges? And being anal, and being "must do exactly like the sample, must copy every inch by every inch", my goodness, my migraine hit a new high too!!! Think I was sick the moment I reached home. Well, I had only myself to blame for not getting a good rest the night before knowing that I was going to a scrapbooking class marathon.

Besides measuring the paper and cutting them up to the right measurements and to make sure that the right side of the paper had been cut, the other challenge was to label the papers properly, and to make sure that the papers were pasted on the right side of the chipboard album!!!

The biggest challenge was to cut the smaller papers with several dimensions using one piece of patterned paper or card stock!!! Well, I have learn how to save my paper now and to make FULL use of each precious piece of paper!!!

( Kah-Mei Smith and Me)

At half time, sorry, I mean to say at the end of the first lesson, I decided to take a picture with Kah-Mei. She is really friendly!!! And she has a very cute laughter too. Her assistant Jit, and Betty of Laines were all very helpful. Without both of them, and with the addition of my stupid migraine, I would have been so dead!!!

So, here's another shot of me and Kah-Mei. The album I am holding was mine (that is, I made the album, incomplete except for the cover) while the other album held by Kah-Mei, was done by the true master - Kah-Mei.

I brought home the albums and my mum loved the albums to bits. She even commented that the stuff I brought home after each class I attended are getting prettier and prettier. She also mentioned that the techniques are more interesting too.

I must say tha Kah-Mei's classes have brought scrapbooking lessons to another level.

But, I must be getting old. I must make sure I get a good rest before going for another scrapbooking class marathon style!!!
