Drinking

Well, the long awaited drink session finally took place on Wednesday, 23rd July 2008. The drink session was supposed to take place last Friday, however, due to unforseen circumstances (in the form of my corneal injury), it was postponed.

Anyway, eight of us went to have a good wind down. We definitely needed one, after so much emotional turmoil from work. I simply cannot understand why there are beings out there who enjoy milking the happiness out of others. They are like dementors from Harry Potter! Their very presence suck the happiness out of us!!! Terrible!

A-GE-NES told us the story of how Dr CWC thought she was married with kids. Gosh, it was hilarious!!! It was one of those moments when all who gathered had a good hearty laugh. I was glad that all those who went for the drink session had a good wind down.

And of course, we had a hilarious dinner too. ShuJuan and I had a good time "helping" B to plan for her wedding party. S was very happy if there were to be karaoke set; ShuJuan suggested that we do 《恋爱─ING》with the guests and that participation is absolutely compulsory or they will not be served the next dish!!! Imagine the horror!!! S had the best idea - she said to marry secretly so that we would not have the opportunity to do what we suggested!!!

My goodness, all those funny ideas and all those laughter!!! It is what we want at the end of the day.

I shall spread some good cheers tomorrow.
